Tuberculosis (TB)
This infectious disease is caused by MTB(Mycobacterium tuberculosis) and is often seen in humans. At first, it will damage the lungs and then it spreads to the brain, spine and kidneys. It is airborne when a person with active and untreated TB coughs, sneezes or talks.
Common Symptoms
People may have TB for many days with symptoms, including coughing, fever, chills, weakness, weight loss, and loss of appetite. If not treated, the ailment can get serious and even fatal.
